What is Music and Arts Night?
A night dedicated to displaying the talents of the next generation. Students ages 5-18 are encouraged to submit a piece to the gallery, and perform an act on stage.
What will the night look like?
At 1 pm the gallery opens. Guests can walk through and admire what students have submitted. You will see a variety of artwork like paintings, sketches, and drawings to Lego creations!
At 1:30 pm the stage performances will begin. The adult worship team will open with a few worship songs, and then the emcee will begin the program. You will hear students sing, play instruments, preach sermonettes, and more! There will be an intermission between the two acts and the gallery will be open again during the intermission. Following the performances there will an award ceremony. After the awards are handed out there will be light refreshments in the cafe and hallway (no food in the sanctuary please!) and the gallery will be open again.
The theme this year is Let There Be Light. Last year we did our first Music and Arts Night at Christmas time and it was a hit so we will continue this! With this being at Christmas time you will hear some Christmas pieces by students.
